Is Roblox okay for an eight-year-old?
It depends on three settings most parents never open. We walk you through them.
It can be, with three settings and one habit.
Three settings first
- Chat: limit it to friends, or switch it off. Nearly all trouble on Roblox starts in chat.
- Content: choose the maturity level for younger children, so the wilder experiences don’t show up.
- Spending: set a monthly limit and keep your card off the device.
The habit: for the first few weeks, Roblox happens in the living room, with sound on. You’ll learn what your kid plays and with whom, and they’ll get used to you being around. After that it is just part of how the house works.
